About us

The visionary behind this venture, Valantis Lambrianidis, began his journey in the hospitality industry in 1998. While studying marketing and business administration, he started working as a bartender. Although he closely followed the world of spirits through continuous training and interest, he was ultimately won over by the art of coffee.

Throughout his career as a barista and later as a head barista, he trained with industry experts across various European countries—professionals dedicated to advancing coffee preparation methods. Their goal was to refine techniques among professionals and achieve excellence in every cup.

Driven by a passion for teaching and a commitment to producing exceptional coffee, in recent years he has worked as an independent barista trainer, teaching at private academies while also delivering seminars in cities across Greece and abroad, with the primary goal of directly engaging, educating, and advancing baristas.

Today, he is the owner of “Valenio”, a company providing educational and consulting services in all aspects of coffee. He is also the owner of Valenio Coffee Vibes, one of the most specialized coffee spots in the center of Thessaloniki, focused on specialty coffee and outstanding single-origin varieties. As a Coffee Consultant for selected coffee businesses, he holds the SCA Coffee Diploma, multiple certifications as an Authorised SCA Trainer, and is a certified judge by the World Coffee Events (WCE Certified Judge) for national and international coffee championships.
